Crash Course On Ireland

Thursday, 10 September 2026 - Thursday, 29 October 2026
About this event
Crash Course on Ireland is a fun and informal two-hour introduction to Irish history and culture, presented by two qualified local tour guides in a traditional Dublin pub.
Over a pint, discover the big stories that shaped Ireland – from the Celts, Vikings and Normans through the Famine, 1916, independence and modern Ireland. Along the way, explore Irish music, sport, writers, language, pub culture and some of the quirks of Irish life that visitors often notice but don't quite understand.
Every Thursday in September and October, 6.30pm – 8.30pm at Turks Head, Parliament Street, Dublin.
Readers are advised to check with the organiser before relying on the details published here.
